About The Author
He has been a world traveler for most of his life. He started his world adventure, in the 1950s, by joining the U.S. Navy. He has enjoyed both Atlantic and Pacific experiences, cruising the world. Following his Naval career, he has been a world traveler and worked in many challenging and rewarding venues. Always with him during these world adventures would be his favorite books. He began this interest in books of adventure at an early age growing up on a farm in Central America. He is now retired and his first novel, A Wizards Golden Stone, hopefully will not be his last.
About The Book
This first novel presents a grand adventure about a golden stone, the mystical education of a young boy, and a journey with his brother and friends to The Kingdom of Chthonic. Through this epic journey the young boy, with his brother and friends, travel to a magical kingdom, battle an evil warlock, his army, and his fire-eating dragons to save a magical kingdom and its people, a king and queen, and an old wizard with the help of the Magical Golden Stone. With the discovery of the golden stone by this young boy and his beginning as a young wizard, his future is governed by the laws of the golden stone. As a Wizard, this young boy is tutored and granted the ability to perform secret magical powers and perform powerful spells. This adventure commences in a beautiful area called the Mystic River Basin in central Illinois in the 1940s with the early life of this young boy living on a farm with his mother, father, and brother in the center of North America, just outside a small village that is called Milwood. John, his brother Jess, and four friends travel to The Kingdom of Chthonic to battle Sir Hugo and his dragons to save the kingdom.
